Chili Glaze

Yields 1.5 Cups

Ingredients for Chili Glaze

½ cup Rice Wine Vinegar
½ cup Brown Sugar
1½ tsp Soy Sauce
3 tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce, Mae Ploy brand
2 tbsp Chili Garlic Sauce, Huy Fong brand
1 tbsp minced Garlic
1 tbsp Cornstarch
1 tbsp Water

Method for Chili Glaze

• In a saucepot, combine vinegar, sugar, soy, sweet chili, chili garlic and minced garlic.
• Bring to a boil.
• Combine cornstarch and water in a mixing bowl to make a slurry. Whisk until well combined.
• Begin whisking the boiling sauce while slowly adding the slurry, whisking vigorously until thickened.
• Remove sauce from the heat and reserve.
