Canoe’s beautiful riverside setting makes it the perfect spot for any event. With sweeping views of the Chattahoochee river, our white-tented patio area can accommodate up to 150 people comfortably. For more intimate parties of up to 20 you may choose our elegant Wine Room. Or for a truly private celebration, consider reserving the entire restaurant. Our seasonal contemporary American cuisine and extensive wine selection have been featured in such publications as Food & Wine and Gourmet. We’ll work with you to plan a custom menu and bar. There’s little decorating to do because of Canoe’s stunning natural setting.

Carvel Grant Gould, Executive Chef

Carvel has been an integral part of Canoe's success from the beginning. Her sophisticated Southern style is a fundamental part of the Canoe experience. Having lived in Atlanta all her life, Carvel, a seventh generation Atlantan, has an authentic appreciation and a true flair for regional cuisine. Chef Gould's restaurant experience began at the Buckhead Diner in 1991. Carvel's diverse experience and Southern heritage combine to create her truly original culinary style. One of the most magical aspects of Carvel's talent is the way she infuses her passionate, feminine sensibility into all of her dishes. "As I think of new dishes, I can actually taste the flavors in my head," she says. "Finding the freshest ingredients, respecting their flavors and applying solid cooking techniques in the kitchen is how they come to life."
