I did my Culinary class under Michel Laudier, Executive chef (ex Chef of the Famous Plaza Athenees in Paris)Executive Chef Tomme JohnsonA local boy of sorts, Tomme Johnson has been around the streets of some of San Antonio’s finest restaurants, his ability to match food to wine has made him popular with the city’s food and wine Aficionados. Taking over culinary operations in June 07 with Thierry Burkle at The Grill was like coming home, I started here in San Antonio with Thierry, we share the same values of life and our tastes compliment each other very well. He attended classes at Greystone in Napa Valley, Well traveled, and with 31 years in the business, he has a broad range of styles and is influenced by many cultures.
