Dill Sour Créme Seared Ahi Tuna

Serves 1, 8 oz Tuna Filet
Marinade & Salsa Yields Enough for 2, 8 oz Tuna Filets

Ingredients for Dill Sour Créme Seared Ahi Tuna

½ cup Mayonnaise
½ cup Sour Cream
1 tbsp chopped Garlic
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1½ tbsp fresh Dill
1 pinch of Fresh Ground Pepper
1 8 oz Ahi or Yellow Fin Tuna Filet

Ingredients for Tomato Cucumber Summer Salsa

3 Roma Tomatoes
1 English Cucumber
1 medium Red Onion
½ tbsp fresh Dill
1 pinch of Fresh Ground Black Pepper
1 tbsp Garlic, chopped
½ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Method for Tomato Cucumber Summer Salsa

• Make summer salsa first to gather flavors of herbs and vegetables together.
• Chop tomatoes, cucumber, and onion into ¼” cubes.
• Mix all salsa ingredients.

Method for Dill Sour Créme Seared Ahi Tuna

• Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
• Dip ahi tuna filet and coat both sides.
• Sear to desired temperature over open flame grill.
• Serve tuna immediately from grill.
• Top with summer salsa and a fresh dill spear for garnish.
