Shrimp Charmoula & Creamy Orzo

Serves 4

Ingredients for Shrimp Charmoula

2 lbs 16-20 count fresh local Shrimp (tail on, peeled & deveined)
2 cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil
10 cloves fresh Garlic (finely chopped)
3 Limes
1 tsp Sigler’s Magic Crystals™
1 bunch freshly chopped Cilantro
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Paprika
Red Pepper Flakes, to taste

Ingredients for Creamy Orzo

1 lb Orzo (rice or barley-shaped pasta)
2 tbsp freshly chopped Herbs (parsley, thyme & basil)
1½ tbsp Pecorino-Romano Cheese
1 cup 36% Milk Fat Heavy Cream
Sigler’s Magic Crystals™, to taste

Method for Shrimp Charmoula

• Mix all ingredients together and add shrimp.
• Marinate for 12 hours.
• Drain from marinade & char grill over hot coals.
• Finish in oven, if necessary.

Method for Creamy Orzo

• Cook orzo per package directions.
• Cool in a strainer with cold water, then coat with oil.
• To reheat, add orzo, heavy cream, fresh herbs, and Sigler’s Magic Crystals™ to medium saucepan over medium heat.
• Reduce heavy cream and add cheese. If you would like to thin the orzo simply add more cream or chicken stock. All other ingredients may be increased or decreased to taste.
• Serve shrimp over orzo.
