Executive Chef Sean Sanders

Dallas native Sean Sanders represents “new talent” in DC's thriving restaurant culture. As Executive Sous Chef at the Dallas Oceanaire where he worked for six years, Sean is well-versed in all things seafood as well as bringing a unique and fresh perspective to classical preparations that became standard fare for Dallas foodies. Under his leadership, The Oceanaire Seafood Room in Dallas earned the coveted “DiRoNA Award” and has earned distinction with The International Association of Culinary Professionals. Sean has a passion for creating unique dishes using only sustainable seafood sources and global ingredients. Sean’s cooking style lends itself toward blending regional flavors with classic technique. Sean became a well known figure throughout the Dallas restaurant community and anticipates becoming a standard fixture in the DC culinary society.
