Bailey's General Store is open at The Island Store on Captiva! The same folks that welcome you to Bailey’s General Store have enjoyed serving you over the past year at The Island Store. Visitors and residents have noticed changes happening at The Island Store in the past few months. The building owner and current tenant partnered together to rebuild The Island Store with the same charm shoppers have enjoyed since Ding Darling opened it as a general store earlier in the 1900s. With the help of the historical preservation committee, The Island Store will be rebuilt with as much adherence to the original historical building as possible.
