Our oysters are grown in the Kachemak Bay Critical Habitat area. Surrounded by the Kachemak Bay Alaska State park. The bay is feed by lots of fresh water including seven glaciers. Tides fluctuate twice a day some times as much as 30 feet! Oyster farming is one of the greenest, environmentally sound industries that exists.

We sell hand knit Qiviut (pronounced KIV-EE-UTE) garments. Qiviut is the downy soft under wool of the Musk Ox. It is 8 times warmer than wool by weight, has no lanolin or barbs like wool. So it has no oily feel or sent to it when it gets wet and does not itch on most people and it will NOT shrink in any temperature of water.
