VEAL CHAMPAGNE

2 Servings

Ingredients

6 veal cutlets, lightly floured
3 T olive oil
3 T champagne
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 C heavy cream
1 C mushrooms, sliced
to taste salt and pepper
fresh basil leaves for garnish

Method

  • Heat oil in medium to large frying pan.
  • Place floured veal cutlets in pan and cook 2 minutes on each side.
  • Add crushed garlic and champagne and then immediately add heavy cream and mushrooms.
  • Cook for one more minute and remove from pan into serving dish.
  • Add fresh basil leaves for garnish.
