Pasta Santorini

Ingredients for Pasta Santorini

1 lb fresh Shrimp, size 21-25
2 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 cup diced fresh Tomatoes
½ cup diced fresh Onion
2 tsp minced Garlic
1 pinch of Cayenne Pepper
½-¾ oz Ouzo
1½ cups Marinara Sauce
(ours has basil, oregano & garlic)
2 oz crumbled Feta Cheese
4 cups Spaghetti Pasta

Method for Pasta Santorini

• Peel and devein 1 pound of shrimp.
• Heat a 12” sauté pan on high heat. Add olive oil, tomatoes, onion, garlic and cayenne pepper. Sauté for 3 minutes.
• Add shrimp and continue sauté for 3 minutes or until shrimp are done.
• Add ouzo and light to flambé. When flambé is done, reduce heat and stir in heated marinara sauce and feta cheese.
• Split your sauce and shrimp over two, 2-3 cup servings of spaghetti.
• Enjoy! This dish is outstanding with a glass of your favorite red wine.
