SEARED TUNA STEAK ON MIXED BABY GREENS WITH GINGER-SOY DRESSING
4 Pieces of 8 oz fresh Tuna Loin Steaks
1 T Course Sea Salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Fresh Mixed Herbs, chopped
Mixed Baby Lettuces
1 Red Onion, thinly sliced
1 European Cucumber, cut into sticks
1 pint Radish Sprouts
To Garnish Toasted White adn Black Sesame Seeds
Blend ginger, soy, vinegar and fish sauce.
Slowly add oil to form an emulsion.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Season tuna with salt, pepper and herbs.
In a cast iron skillet or BBQ hot plate, sear tuna to desired temperature.
Allow to cool slightly and slice.
In a bowl, add all salad ingredients and dress with 1/2 the amount of dressing.
Arrange salad on serving platter, place tuna on top and finish with the remaining dressing.
