Ingredients for Gougères

salt, pinch
2 tsp Sugar
5 tbsp Butter
½ cup Gruyère Cheese, grated
White Pepper, pinch
4 ea Eggs
1 cup Milk
1 cup Flour

Method for Gougères

• In a saucepan add milk, salt, sugar, butter, grated gruyère cheese and bring ingredients to a boil.
• Remove from heat add 1 cup of flour and mix quickly.
• Return saucepan to the heat stir with a wooden spoon until pantry leaves the sides. About 1 min.
• Remove saucepan from heat and add eggs one at a time, while constantly stirring until smooth.
• Pipe small balls on to a buttered sheet pan and brush the tops with a beaten egg.
• Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes until golden brown.
