Guinness Chocolate Cake


Ingredients for Guinness Chocolate Cake

2 cup Flour
1 cup Cocoa Powder
1 ½ tsp Baking Powder
1 ½ Baking Soda
1 tsp Kosher Salt
2 cup Sugar
1 ½ Guinness
2 Eggs
1 Egg Yolk
1 cup 2% Milk
1 stick Butter, melted

Method for Guinness Chocolate Cake

• Start by sifting together the first five ingredients. (All the dry ingredients!)
• In a stand mixer, mix the sugar, Guinness, eggs, milk, and butter until combined.
• Slowly add the dry mixture into the stand mixer a tablespoon at a time.
• Once all is incorporated, (make sure to scrape down the sides a few times) separate the mixture into two 8” spring form pans.
• Bake it in a 325º preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
