With its whimsical name, distinctive vertical sign and modern décor, Atmesfir diners are treated to a relatively small and exciting menu selection that changes with the availability of locally sourced ingredients at the peak of their season; and fresh seafood is flown in and featured Thursday through Sunday. An intimate space with an open kitchen is designed for detailed attention to the entire guest experience. Murphy’s has a long and rich history, beginning in about 1890. JI Gardner originally built the Murphys building as a Mercantile and General Store with the saying ‘all goods guaranteed to be first class’. The building was renovated and the mezzanine was added in 1904! That is one vintage structure! Fork in the Road Inc. bought Murphys Restaurant from Mr. Paul Murphy in 1997 and it remains an historic landmark with exquisite cuisine, living up to the saying ‘all goods guaranteed to be first class’, to this day.
