Goulette takes a classical approach to casual cuisine. Known for its duck fat pommes frites and rotisserie chicken (the latter of which you might want to reserve, as it sometimes sells out) and opened by the former owner of La Fourchette, it’s a neighborhood-style rotisserie that’s laid-back and makes you feel at home.

Born and raised in a small town in Brittany France, Perig learned traditional French cooking from his mom and his older brother Gwenael who was a well known chef in Westchester, NY. When Perig first arrived in Charleston he was struck by the similarities of the city with his hometown. He has now called Charleston home for over 20 years. And, to make it feel even more like home, his sister Soazig recently relocated to Charleston to partner with him at Goulette.
