It has been a very exiting culinary journey for Executive Chef, Patrick Rene Schaefer of Armani’s, located at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. In 1989, he began his formal training under the mentorship of John L. Clark, Executive Chef at Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida. During this time Chef Patrick worked at many locations throughout the Disney Properties to include Coral Reef, Epcot’s Fine Dining Restaurant, Team Member that actually started Epcot’s Catering Department and has been instrumental in special events such as Food & Wine Festivals and Master Chef’s Series on the Disney Cruise ships. Chef Patrick has a creative eye and it shows in his fusions of flavors with unique presentations, which will take your focus away from even the 14th floor sunset views. Chef Patrick has had the privilege of working with great Chef’s such as Chef Michael Lomonard, Chef Todd English, Chef Julia Childs, Chef John Clark and Chef Keith Keogh to name a few.
