Chef/Restaurant Manager Dorian Mills
Dorian Mills was born and raised in Panama. Latin American cuisine has influenced his particular style of Caribbean, Italian, Asian and American flavors. In 1982 while attending the University of Texas at Austin, he began his restaurant career as a waiter. His affinity for the restaurant industry led to extensive front of the house experience ultimately becoming a general manager. When Dorian moved to San Antonio in 1990, it was while working as a Chef in a family owined Italian Trattoria that he realized cooking was his truest of passions. Before becoming The Chef at the Guenther House, Dorian was a Sous Chef at Silo Elevated Cuisine. As Chef at the Guenther House, Dorian incorporates products from the Pioneer Flour Mill, a San Antonio icon for over 150 years.
