Executive Chef Paul Kalberer is the man in charge of meeting Morton’s claim of the “best steak anywhere”. Paul is in his 12th year of grilling Cleveland’s best steaks in the 800 – 1,000 F Morton’s broiler as executive chef at Morton’s in Cleveland. He became an outstanding chef during his earlier jobs with the Mountain Jack’s steakhouse chain and the Carl Quagliata family of restaurants.
Paul is a native Clevelander, having graduated from West Geauga High School. When he’s not in the kitchen, you can find him fishing Lake Erie, hunting the woods and farmland of the Western Reserve, or enjoying and evening out with friends and family – when someone else gets to handle the cooking duties!
