Emeril’s Delmonico re-opened its doors in May of 1998 after undergoing
an extensive historic renovation. Delmonico, an icon in the New Orleans
restaurant industry, has been in business since 1895. The two story structure,
located on the corner of St. Charles Avenue and Erato Street, includes
three main dining rooms, a bar and private party rooms. The style of
cuisine at Emeril’s Delmonico is Classic New Orleans Creole reinvented for
the contemporary palette. Under its new direction Chef Emeril Lagasse
has kept many of the classic items from the former menu while adding
the inventive flavors that he is known for. The menu also features prime
steaks dry aged in-house. Tableside service and preparation has also
been instated in keeping with the classic style of Creole cuisine.
