Dishes paired with the perfect wine from Peterson’s award winning wine list bring a smile to this talented and accomplished chef. Chef Benko began his culinary career in Michigan at the Renaissance Club. From there he came to Indianapolis where he has been the Executive Chef at the Skyline Club, Keystone Grill. Chef Benko traveled for several years as the Corporate Chef for Lone Star Steakhouse and Saloon, Del Frisco’s and Sullivan’s Steakhouse. New York City, Dallas, Denver, Charlotte, Las Vegas, and Indianapolis are a few of the cities Chef Benko assisted in training new chefs, overseeing construction issues and troubleshooting. His resume extended abroad into France, Germany and Italy. He has trained with Certified Master Chefs Milos Cihelka, Mike Russell, and Leopold Schaeli. Chef Karl also was a member of the gold winning 1992 Culinary Team U.S.A. Central Team. In his spare time Chef Karl is a board member for Second Helpings, Chefs Academy, Chaine De Rotisseurs and Ordre De Mondial, and instructor for Food University.
