| Warm Pear |

| Ingredients for Pear |
2 Pear, cored and sliced
2 tbsp Butter
|

| Ingredients for Sauce |
1/4 cup Butter
Seeds from 4 Cardamom Pods, crushed
(alternatively, grind 4 whole cardamom pods
in coffee grinder)
1/2 cup Almond Slices
1/3 cup Light Brown Sugar
Rind & Juice of 2 Limes
2 tbsp Dark Rum
Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)

| Method for Warm Pear |
• Place the sliced pear into a pan with the butter
and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until golden. Place
in serving dishes.
• Melt remaining butter, add cardamom and
almonds. Stir until golden brown.
• Add lime rind and juice, then sugar
• Cook and stir until mixture is smooth, bubbling
and slightly reduced.
• Stir in rum.
• Pour sauce over pears and serve immediately,
with ice cream if desired
