| Bananas Foster |

| Ingredients |
4 t cinnamon
3 t sugar
3 C brown sugar
3/4 stick butter
6 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
1/2 C dark rum
1/4 C banana liqueur
6 scoops vanilla ice cream

| Note |
| This has to be the single most famous dessert in new Orleans, though
by no means the only magnificent one. It was devised at Brennan's
for a good customer named Foster. |
| Method |
| Mix together sugar, cinnamon and set aside.
In a flambé pan, mash brown sugar and butter, set pan to flame and
warm up mixture.
Add bananas and the liqueur, cook slowly, then add the rum for the
dramatic finish.
Serve over ice cream. Enjoy. |
