FRENCHMEN SCALLOPS
INGREDIENTS
6 Jumbo Sea Scallops
2 T Minced Garlic
1/3 Stick Butter
1 T Hondasbi (Japanese Fish Stock)
Cornstarch
3 T Vegetable Oil
PREPARATION
  • Coat scallops in corn starch.
  • Heat oil in frying pan, then add scallops when oil is hot.
  • Pan fry scallops for 1 minute on each side or until golden brown.
  • Add garlic and butter.
  • When butter has completely melted, add Hondashi.
  • Sauté in pan for 1 minute.
  • Remove scallops from frying pan with tongs, then pour sauce from pan onto scallops.
