BAKED BRIE
4 Servings
Ingredients
6 0z Brie
2 pieces Sage
4 T Butter
1 t Cardamom Spice
3 sheets Phyllo Dough
1/4 c Golden Raisins
1/4 c Shaved Almonds
1/2 c Honey
Method
  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees
  • Melt the butter wth a half ounce of cardamom spice.
  • Lightly brush each sheet of phyllo dough with the melted butter mixture.
  • Place the brie and sage leaves in the center of the phyllo dough and fold them inside.
  • Place the almonds on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for approximately 2 minutes.
  • After the almonds are done, place the phyllo wrapped brie on a non-stick backing sheet (making sure that your baking sheet has been pre-heated) and put it in the oven.
  • Cook the brie about one minute on each side or until golden brown.
  • Position the brie on a serving dish and top it with the shaved almonds and golden raisins.
  • Finally, drizzle the honey and cardamom over the top.
