| PASTA CARBONARA |

| Ingredients |
10 rashers bacon, chopped
1 qt heavy cream
1 1/2 C Parmesan cheese, grated
1 1/2 lb fettuccine or capellini
olive oil
black pepper, fresh cracked

| Method |
| Cook pasta to al dente in salted boiling water. Drain and reserve.
In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crisp. Drain grease and
set aside.
In the same skillet over medium heat, drizzle a bit of olive oil. Add the heavy cream and let come to a boil. Add the pasta, the bacon and the Parmesan cheese.
Using tongs, stir the pasta and cook until thickened and creamy. Add fresh cracked black pepper to taste and serve. |
