| Ingredients for Bleu Cheese Herb Crusted New York Steaks |
12 oz bleu cheese
2 C Japanese bread crumbs
1 T extra virgin olive oil
1 1/2 t cracked black pepper
1 T fresh herbs (rosemary, sage, thyme), chopped
4 ea 12 oz New York steaks, trimmed of excess fat
2 t kosher salt |

| Methods for Bleu Cheese Herb Crusted New York Steaks |
• Mix together the first five ingredients.
• Season each side of the steak with salt.
• Pan sear the steaks on both sides in a hot skillet with a small amount
of vegetable oil until well browned but still rare.
• Cover each steak with the bleu cheese mixture.
• Bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for approximately 5-8 minutes
for medium rare to medium. |
