Executive Chef
Brandon Buck

BRANDON BUCK, a native of Batavia, New York, is a southerner at heart having been raised in Columbia, South Carolina. Brandon attended Trident Technical College where he earned an Associates Degree in Arts in 2006. He is currently working on a degree in Business Administration from the College of Charleston.

Prior to his appointment as Executive Chef at the Middleton Place Restaurant, Brandon worked with Donald Barickman to open the Cypress Lowcountry Grill in downtown Charleston. There, he quickly earned a promotion to Executive Sous Chef, training under the guidance of Executive Chef Craig Deihl.

Brandon has worked in the food industry since 1995, learning all aspects of the business. His interest in cooking began at an early age where he learned from his Sicilian grandmother. His favorite foods to prepare are French and Mediterranean. With deep southern roots, Brandon specializes in Low Country cuisine with a cosmopolitan flair.
