Chef Christopher Bauer
Chef Christopher Bauer is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York where he was chosen as one of the top ten students of the year by CIA and Food and Wine Magazine. His eighteen year career has taken him through New York, South Carolina, and New Orleans. More recently he has worked at the four star Brennan’s in Houston with Carl Walker and also was the Chef de Cuisine for the four star Hill Country Dining Room at Barton Creek Resort. Chosen as one of Austin’s “Best New Chef’s for 2005”, Christopher Bauer is the Executive Chef of the exciting and innovative Finn and Porter along with the Hilton’s Liberty Tavern restaurant. The two kitchens also cater for the 24 hour room service of this hotel’s 800 Guest rooms. His team consists of two Sous Chefs, five Chef de Parties, and twenty six Culinarians.
