She attended Chef School in Hungary at age 14 through age 17. After completing her schooling, she was employed by Hungarn Hotels for 6 years and Annabella Hotel for 15 years. Because of her unique talents and abilities as a chef, she was invited by groups of hotels in Germany to come and share her culinary expertise and pastry chef experiences with their restaurants in Leipzig. Piroska also acquired knowledge about their food and culture and has incorporated the German cuisine techniques into her daily cooking repertoire. From 1987 to 1992, Piroska owned and operated The Poni restaurant located in Lake Balatonfured in Hungary. In 1994, Piroska came to the United States to help Anna Zovek provide food service to Northridge Community College for 7 years. In 2002, this dynamic duo opened European Bistro located in historic downtown Pflugerville, TX. Piroska puts her “heart and soul” into each dish and array of European pastries that she prepares for the restaurant.
